Welcome to the Hailsham section of the Crossroads Brighton and Hove and East Sussex site.
If you care for an elderly, ill or disabled friend or relative at home, you’ll know how stressful a job it can sometimes be. You may have people around you who can help out for time to time but wouldn’t it be great if you had regular respite from someone you can trust?
At Crossroads, we believe that every carer should get a regular break to enjoy time to themselves so they can recharge their batteries.
Crossroads can support you by taking over your caring role for a few hours each week or fortnightly, giving you the chance to do some work or studying, attend doctor or hospital appointments, enjoy leisure, or do whatever it is that you enjoy!
We work with both children and adult and with most disabilities. Visits can be weekdays, weekends or evenings – whatever suits you.
Friendly and Professional Care
Our friendly and efficient Carers Support Workers are highly trained and can assist with a range of personal care needs such as washing, feeding and dressing according to your individual needs. Many of our clients, however, just appreciate a friendly face and someone to chat to for a few hours. So, whether you have specific care needs or would just like someone to sit with your loved one and keep them company while you go out, we can match your needs with a regular Carers Support Worker.
